Who we are

Nordica Green Claims is a Shopify app made by Variegata Nordica (Mallory Berthomé). Questions about this policy or your data: mallory.berthome@gmail.com.

What the app stores

• Your store’s address and Shopify access, so the app can open in your Shopify admin and read your product texts.
• Products and collections with findings: their title and the sentences that contain a flagged claim. Products without findings aren’t stored.
• Claims you approve or ignore, with the proof you add, and the fixes you make, kept for 13 months as your audit trail.
• Your plan (Free or Pro) and when your store was last checked.
• Messages you send with “Contact support” or “Suggest an improvement”, and the email address if you add one.
• Technical error reports: your store’s address, the page and the error, so problems can be fixed.

What the app changes in your store

Nothing, unless you click a fix (Pro): then it changes only the flagged words in that product’s or collection’s title, description or SEO text. It never changes prices, stock, images or theme files.

Your customers

The app doesn’t read orders or any information about your customers. It adds nothing to your storefront.

Who processes the data

Cloudflare hosts the app and its database. Shopify provides the store data and handles billing. No AI service reads your texts. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.

How long it is kept

When you uninstall the app, your sign-in data is deleted at once. Everything else linked to your store (findings, approvals, change log, messages) is deleted when Shopify asks for it to be erased, 48 hours after uninstalling. You can ask for your support messages to be deleted at any time.
